“It’s like eating a meal with all your favorite foods. I don’t want to only make tacos, because I love tacos, but I also love Chinese food and pizza and my mom’s food and all kinds of different stuff. So I’d wanna figure out how to take all that food and put them into one meal and have it still taste good and taste natural and not be strange because it’s combining so many things in an unnatural way…But still have everything and have it be the one meal that’s like “Oh only Jesse can make THAT MEAL.” That’s what I’ve been kind of learning, and trying to learn still, and it’s worth the while. ”

This was recorded live in Vishal (the drummer’s) basement, after two days of recording for our upcoming album. It was shot and edited by my friend Gabe Smith, who has played percussion with us in the past.
